Darkrooms:
The Darkrooms have been upgraded and cleaned.
The Camera Club has four separate darkrooms for individual
working, grouped around a general area containing
RC and FB driers and film drier. A print finishing
room includes light box, trimmer and counters for
retouching. The individual darkrooms are equipped
with De Vere enlargers for 35mm, medium and large
format.
Darkroom Technique. Members Only
Dave Champion will be running another darkroom
technique evening on Thursday 20th November
from 7 till 9.
This evening will be for people with some darkroom
experience who would like some encouragement to help
build their confidence. Two hours is enough time to
work at printing or film developing (but not both),
both will be possible on the evening, you just need
to decide which you want to do. 10x8 Multigrade paper
and Rodinal film developer will be available on the
evening. Other chemicals are always available from
the steward’s office. Cost £10 and pre
booking is needed as there is only limited space in
the darkrooms. Be at the club for a 7 o'clock start.

Digital:
Recognising the significance of digital, in extending
full control over the final print to many more photographers,
the club has a digital workstation equipped with a
good range of printers, scanners and media, enabling
superb results to be achieved economically.
Hire Charges:
Darkrooms: £4 per hour
Chemicals: £0.50 each
Digital Workstations: £3 per hour
Digital Printing: A4 £1.00, A3 £2.00
Accreditation
In order to use the studios, darkrooms and digital
facilities members must first attend the appropriate
Accreditation session. Studio Accreditation
is provided on Thursday morning at 10.15 am
or a Tuesday evening 6.30pm to 7.00pm. This
must be booked in advance phone: Steve 07961-380-969
for a Thursday morning booking. For a Tuesday
evening booking 6.30pm to 7.00pm Studio Accreditation

is on the Thursday of each week (at 6pm) phone

be booked through the steward ask to be put
