Portrait Group
Leader: Richard Liston
The group meets regularly to explore aspects of portraiture with different subjects in a varied context. Typically this involves a single model in the Main Studio with time for three or so lighting setups and a couple of costume changes. Limited to 8 places. Cost £15 and includes the use of a regular make-up artist. Participation in these sessions should be booked in advance, using the Events Booking Sheets held in the stewards office.

PORTRAIT GROUP EXPANDED: As many of you know, it is not always easy to get on to the Portrait Group because it is booked up very quickly. So as to be as inclusive as I can, I have started a blog and each month after the shoot I will upload a lighthearted breakdown of what we did in the Portrait Group, talk about lighting and technique and post some pictures from the sesson. That way, if you don't manage to get on to the class, you can at least get an idea of what went on.

You can access the blog here

I also welcome comments and questions about anything relating to the Portrait Group.
