‘Thank you for the Music’ is a photographic series featuring a variety of dogs in Abba songs. From Eurovision winner Waterloo, to some lesser known tracks, the portraits are a quirky interpretation of some of the band’s music.
27 dogs – big, small, old, young, pedigree, mixed breed, rescue and non rescue play their part, all doing their bit to help raise awareness and money for the Wild at Heart Foundation, which funds animal welfare projects all over the world. The Foundation works passionately and tirelessly to reduce the world’s 600 million stray dog population through rescue projects, neutering programmes and education initiatives.
Maggie, Spud, Bernie, George, Flora and Ginger are all Wild at Heart success stories, and I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to photograph them.
All proceeds from prints sold go directly to the charity along with a suggested donation of £5-10 on the door.
Lucy is studio dog photographer, owned by 2 slightly bonkers Irish Terriers and is a not so secret Dancing Queen.
