Annual Members Winter Exhibition 2024


Attention Camera Club Members! It’s time to showcase your best work at our Annual Members Winter Exhibition, a celebration of the creativity, passion, and talent within our community. 

This exhibition is your platform to share the projects you’ve been working on, no matter the subject, style, or technique. From breathtaking landscapes to compelling portraits, street photography, experimental compositions, or anything in between—if you’ve captured it, we want to see it! 

Selected works will be proudly displayed in our gallery, offering members and visitors alike a chance to experience the diverse perspectives and artistic achievements of our club. 

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting your photography journey, this is your moment to shine. Submit your images today and be part of a truly inspiring celebration of photography! 

Important Deadlines

  • Deadline for digital submissions: 1 December 2024
  • Deadline for printed submissions: 6 December 2024
  • Exhibition Dates: 9 December - 10 January 2024
  • Open View: 12 December @ 7 pm

Submission Process and Guidelines

To ensure a smooth and professional presentation, please follow these submission guidelines:

Digital Submissions

  • Members may submit up to 2 photos of their choice. 
  • All entries must include digital copies of the submitted prints.
  • Your entries must me named as follows: Name_ImageTitle.jpg
  • Submit your low-resolution images including your name and e-mail address to submissions@thecameraclub.co.uk.
  • Deadline for digital submissions: December 1 at midnight.
  • Members will then vote for their favourites and the top 3 voted photographs will recieve the following prizes: 

    1st Prize: 50 points

    2nd Prize: 30 points

    3rd Prize: 20 points

(1 point = £1 -Points can be redeemed for studio time or darkroom time but cannot be used toward paid workshops.)


Print Submissions

  • Members may submit up to 2 prints of their choice.
  • Prints must be in A3 size and unmounted.
  • For an affordable printing option, we recommend using Simlab (but there are many others).
  • If you’re working with a smaller format, you’ll need to either:    

    -Print it on an A3 sheet, or

    -Mount your smaller print on a simple white mount so it fits our 50 x 40 cm frames.


Print Drop-Off

  • Prints must arrive at the club no later than December 6.
  • Please hand your prints directly to the stewards. Do not leave them in the cupboard.


Exhibition and Display Details

We are limiting the number of photos that will be displayed on the wall to 40 (one per member). If you submit 2, one will go on the wall and the second will be displayed on the display rack.
