Coffee and Cameras is a space for camera lovers to connect, open to both members and non-members.

Whether you're:

  • New and eager to learn,
  • An experienced photographer sharing knowledge, or
  • Looking for feedback on your latest project,

There’s something for everyone.




Our first session kicks off on 11th January 11am, and we’ll be diving into the process of creating your first 8-page zine. To help you get started at home, here’s a simple guide to prep your photos and ideas before the session:




1️⃣ Start with Sequencing

Think about the story or theme you want to tell. Review your photos and begin curating a selection that works together. This will be the foundation of your zine.

2️⃣ Prep Your Digital Files

Make sure all your selected photos are saved digitally in a high-resolution format. You will be curating these into your zine during the session.



3️⃣ Think About Layout & Words

Once you’ve chosen your photos, start visualizing their placement within the zine. Decide if you’d like to include text this could be captions, quotes, or titles.




4️⃣ Play Around with the Sequence

Experiment with the order of your photos. See how rearranging them changes the flow of your story. Be creative - this is your chance to explore!


5️⃣ Learn the Folding Technique

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to fold a single sheet of paper into an 8-page zine. This step brings your zine to life!
