Urban Portrait Pod
Urban Portrait Pod are a great opportunity to join members of the club on either a walkabout or an outdoors location shoot in London.
These pods alternate with the Studio Pod and they take place on the third Saturday of the month.
Take your camera to the streets of London to create unique photographs.
We pick a route beforehand, choose a meeting point and time and then venture out. We post the full route in the socials beforehand so anyone can join at any point.
The shots taken are shared on our socials and used to promote the club and often make it into our Members Exhibition.
Urban Portrait Pod
Instead of a walkabout, our Urban Portrait Pod focuses on interesting outdoor location shoots. We identify interesting places, find a concept, and then meet up on location. Members are encouraged to bring props, lights, etc., and if we don't have a model, we would model for each other. If people feel like doing a bit of a walkabout around the area, they are welcome to do that too.
Who can Join?
Urban Pods are open to ALL levels of photographers and they are completely free for members. Non-members can attend for free for a single Urban Pod, but would be expected to either pay £10 for a one-day membership pass for each subsequent Pod, or to become a member of the Club if they wish to continue attending these sessions.
The Weather & the Leaders
As Urban Pods takes place outdoors, the weather will have the final say on whether they go ahead or not. In addition, these sessions are led by volunteers from the Camera Club, so we are also dependent on their availability which may change due to unforseen circumstances.

Meeting Dates
