Featuring Ian Greaves: Behind the Veil and
Dan Bachmann: Something Between us

Motivation for the Exhibition

Dan Bachmann writes: When Ian Greaves mentioned he would like to do an exhibition with a handful of prints on the theme of veiled portraits, I immediately offered to fill the walls with a related theme. For over a decade, a recurring thought translating to something being between the viewer and subject. Hearing of Ian’s Behind the Veil exhibition translated into an invitation to bring this related theme to the gallery walls

Dan Bachmann: Something Between Us

The concept for Something Between Us has been in the back of my mind for over a decade. There are times when we come to know someone which triggers the wonder of what could have been had we known each other in a different circumstance. There also may be something special between us keeping us close. Or has the relationship changed and we are not as close as we once were? Maybe we were never close. This collection of images is meant to poetically acknowledge these sentiments. - Dan Bachmann, Jan 09 2023
